I know that we are assigned a salesperson when we visit, but I assume that we can request to speak with or work with a specific salesperson if we want.
Did you like your salesperson? Why or why not? Would you recommend them to someone else?

I worked with Kathy Ward. I originally met someone else by phone, came down for one day last October to visit, but he was unavailable. So Kathy came down to meet me explaining that she was just finishing up with someone and could I wait 15 or 20 minutes. I had NO appointment, and was:clap2: happy to oblige. She spent a couple of hours with me that day, and I made plans for the Lifestyle visit in May. I have just returned yesterday, bought a lot, and am very satisfied. She listened to my comments as we toured model homes and got a very good impression of what I was looking for. I needed some back yard privacy with somewhat of a view, and those are hard to come by! After taking all my considerations into focus, I ended up with a larger lot with a golf course view. She went through the types of additions I could make, we went to the lot and she explained how the house would sit and what type of landscaping I coud use to hide the one very ugly utility box at the back end. I believe most of the agents are well versed on these things and you will likely be happy with the majority of them. I liked her personality and the fact that she listened to me without trying to push me into a decision that I would have later regretted. Happy househunting and best of luck!

We worked with Audrey Sullivan for six years before buying. She was very patient with us. When we decided to move we used her again, both to list our house and to buy the new one. I have no complaints and am very gratful to her and Kevin.

This is a common topic here and, if you poke around the Search button long enough, you'll probably find about a zillion responders recommending about a zillion different Sales Reps.
So, having said that, let me help you cut to the chase. Just ask for Kathy Collins. You'll be totally pleased. Her husband, Tim, is also a Sales Rep and just makes it doubly pleasurable. If nothing else, you'll end up with two new great friends.
And, having said that, I think you'll find it all a very pleasurable time, no matter who the Rep is. They are all very good. It'll probably boil down to a chemistry thing between you and whomever, so if it doesn't work out at first, don't hesitate to try another. They are all primarily concerned with your happiness first.....'cause they're all happy to begin with anyway!
But call Kathy Collins first. You'll want to buy me a Guinness thereafter just to thank me.

Tony Trussler. Excellent experience with him. Very knowledgeable and thorough and had a photographer email us pix regularly (more than once a week) as construction progressed. Amazing and exciting watching how fast your house goes up. He was very clear about options where some of our neighbors had agents that didn't give them any choices other than cabinet colors. Over the last 5 years, we have worked with Kathie Actis, who is one of the senior people in the office. I think she has been here over 10 years. She was excellent throughout our journey, and especially helpful in the last month when we have actually purchased. She is low key yet extremely knowledgeable about what works and what might not, and understands the options available very well.

When we came down on our lifestyle visit we were met by Brenda Smith. After talking with her for a few minutes we found out that we both were realtors in Michigan at the same time and our offices were less than half a mile apart...she worked with many, many of my friends. I later found out that she is also best friends with some very good friends of mine that are not affiliated with real estate....small world! By the way, Brenda is a sweetheart and we will be working with her when we finally get this darn house sold!!

If you also have an interest in pre-owned homes be sure to select a Realtor also to have access to all properties available.
Mark Dyer with Black Tie Realty is very good to work with.

Jim McLaughlin, a New Englander, was our agent both times. He has hair the same color as mine and a spouse who is a huge help to him just as mine is to me.
Jim is an honest fellow with a ready laugh and a calm spirit and has owned four homes in The Villages. The latest just built south of 466A with enough room for his wife Patti's mom and I hear they are all enjoying it.
He sold us our first home in Hadley and showed us a number of resales in our quest for the second and then showed us the lot that we bought to build this home that we love.
And if we decide on a third. He will be our pick again.

So far we have been working with Lindsay Lowe. Does anyone have any "reviews" on him, good or bad? We are coming for our Lifestyle Visit in September. Would like to know if we want to stay with him or ......???

No matter how much you love your agent, just keep in mind he/she is really first and foremost working for the seller. The first piece of paper you sign BEFORE making an offer is an acknowledgement of that fact. After that they are working for themselves (a sale is a commission, afterall, they have to eat too). Then comes the buyer.
Those are facts of life so it's up to you to twist as much of it as you can to your favor.

A good reminder. Even though we enjoyed working with two different reps over time, it's easy to get swept up in the process and one needs to keep their own interests in mind.

Mike joy did a fabulous job for us twice, in addition to selling our home in 2 weeks in between. He is very knowledgable about changes and stretches that are available.

I've seen several threads on this subject, but our sales rep's name is never recommended. I wouldn't exactly recommend her either, but she has been fairly patient with us. We certainly haven't heard anything from her since we started our house, but this is probably the norm.

Would her initials be MC by any chance?

We loved our guy, and yes we heard from him before during and after (just called us last month to say hi and how were we doing. We bought our house two years ago. He is now a sales manager so no longer selling homes :(:( but helping his staff of sales reps be just as great as he was :clap2:

Our TV realtor was Victoria Campbell, and she was just right for us. She listened to our comments and showed us just what we were looking for in a new house model even though we had never previously considered that model; and we "thought" we had done our homework before we visited TV. We did not feel any pressure from Victoria, and she was very, very accomodating and knowledgable.

Just have to get in my recommendation because we think they are so good.
Jonathan Bonomo was listed as our sales representative and was great.
But the bonus was his wife helped us too.
You get two people working for you. They worked with us about a year showing us hundreds of houses. They were so patient and in the end we got the perfect house in the perfect location. Just what we wanted and are very happy.

Ditto. Loved Tim Collins. He found this house, filmed it, put it on u-tube, and here we are!
