Although a bit dated, this is a very good article which was written after NARFE (National Active and Retired Federal Employees) were polled on the best places for Retirement.
Note that the Villages was rated the highest.

Doubt they participated, but we all know that politicians have found that a stop or two on the campaign trail in The Villages tends to be a good idea.

NARFE is open to all active and retired federal government employees - and most vote Democrat for obvious reasons. Wow, maybe an influx of Democrats to The Villages!
Just a humorous post - do not go on saying it should be in the Political Room.

Great to see NARFE members recommending TV for retirees. I'm a NARFE member & invite all NARFE Villagers to join our local chapter. FYI - We meet the 2nd Wednesday of each month Sep - May. Our new meeting place, starting Sep, is Golden Choral on 466 - luncheon meeting with interesting speakers - $10.50. Look for notice each month in the Recreation News.
