Our offer was accepted and we will close on our new home in Rio Grande in July! Hope to make the move shortly thereafter!:MOJE_whot: After six years, DW and I are beside ourselves that our dream will soon come true and can add "frog" to our name!!

We had a great time at Crispers last Friday meeting many in attendance! What a grand event to meet monthly with folks you post with and make new friends!! Thanks Kathie for hosting. It was a pleasure meeting you.

Now comes the work. . . kicking it in high gear to get our house sold in Montgomery and focusing solely on "our place in paradise"!!!:pepper2::pepper2:

Thanks so much. What an exciting week we have had here in TV. Going home tomorrow. Attending a pest inspection today, then look more for golf carts!!! Furniture is next, but that is work! Looking at golf carts is fun!!! :MOJE_whot:

John,

Sending you a virtual high five from up north! Your plan has come together. Congratulations to you and your wife. I'm wishing you a smooth closing for your new home in TV and a quick sale of your home in Alabama!

Thanks for the kind posts! We delayed our trip home, but leaving Sunday morning for sure. We've made great progress on flooring for the house. DW wants flooring and not carpet. I'm cool with that after talking with the house inspector Wednesday. He pointed out the AC works more efficiently with flooring instead of carpet. Never thought of that.

Will be back in mid July for the closing. :MOJE_whot: Thank you all again.

Warmest regards!!

If you are putting ceramic thought out the house you might want to think of the acoustic, ceramic is going to give you a lot of noise while the carpet will deaden the sound.

Right now we are 90% decided to go with vinyl plank.
