View Full Version : Turn signal doesn't beep
Our turn signal works but beeps sporadically. Now it is not beeping at all but still signals. I do need that little beep to remind me to turn it off. Any suggestions before I call in the professionals?

There is a little "Pezio" speaker that is attached to the wires at the flasher. The wires are very small and sometimes they get loose. If not, the speaker is less than $5 at Radio Shack.

but if you fix it you won't have the turn signal on all the time for that quick left:highfive:

It's called "going around the world to the left" and I think people up North do it more often. People here barely use turn signals at all.

We have the same problem, Jojo. Then For next turn, I go to use my blinker and it's still on from the last turn. Glad 2 hear it's an easy (i.e., cheap) solution.

My opinion is that the flasher you put in a golf cart are rated for 12 volts and if you run them with two 8 volt batteries like I and many others do the 16 volts will wear them out rather quickly and it results in a weak "beep" and finally no "beep". I just replace the flasher every year. Cheaper than a voltage reducer that will guarantee only 12 volts going to all the 12 volt equipment you have.
New carts generally have a built in voltage reducer.
