Does anyone know what wrong with the pond on Bailey Trail. There is white foam in it and it smell rotten. Did TV dump raw sewage in it?

You're kidding. Right?
The summer heat (prolonged periods over 86) causes all kinds of stuff to grow in stagnant water and some of it smells yucky.http://www.doityourself.com/forum/ponds-fountains-water-gardens/428653-need-advice-stagnant-pond.html
Why would TV, that does so many things right, do something so stupid?

If I had to guess [which is all I can do], I'd say they put something into the pond to kill off all the algae. This needs to be done periodically, especially as dry as it's been here.
No way it's raw sewage...

At first i thought part of the pond was covered with foam but upon closer inspection it a was thousands of large and small fish. The buzzards seem happy. Behind the pump building it looks like some type of monitoring device has been installed in and near the water. It smells rank down wind. Have not yet talked to TV.

Went by there this morning and a really bad fish smell plus a sewage smell to it. Lots of birds seemed to be very happy there though.

I think I have seen this movie before and as I remember it turned out the heat depletes the oxygen in the water and the fish die and the birds eat.
