If Obama had made this gaffe would it be another piece of proof he wasn't born in the USA? Would it evidence his incompetence to be POTUS? Would it serve to note that he is not intelligent? Would it be termed a monumental blunder?
Believe me you would be seeing it here. And you would be hearing it on Fox Noise.
How do I see Romney's gaffe, since it was his campaign that did this? A typo...big deal.
Nothing to see here....move on. :(

Romney iPhone app misspells 'America' to Web's delight - CNN.com (http://www.cnn.com/2012/05/30/tech/mobile/amercia-romney-iphone-app/)

"Polish Death Camps" came directly out of the "Amateur's" mouth!!

You're trying to compare that to something done by a tech nerd hired by the Romney campaign?

The lefties are getting desperate. So pathetic. I'm starting to feel sorry for you guys now.

Check President Obama's speech when he said these three words. Stupid slip up of words among thousands. That hardly compares though to "Amercia." That is on an app which only has a few words.

Again; the "stupid slip up of words" came DIRECTLY OUT OF OBAMA'S MOUTH.

The misspelling has nothing to do with Romney is as direct a manner.

Get real.

T, While you may not know how to TM, your children and most certainly your grandchildren do. Ask to read some of their text messages. If they allow you to do this, note the number of typo's. Writing quickly with your thumbs creates typo's. The younger generations accept this and do not worry about it.

Comparing a typo by an aide to '57 states' and corpseman is simply desperate. The former was a typo, the latter ignorance.

You are telling me there is no way that this app could have been edited. I make typos frequently on TOTV and then go back and correct them. I cannot see how someone on the Romney campaign could not have quickly corrected this misspelling.

I am sure that President Obama knew that there were not 57 states in the U.S. He misspoke.

You don't "get it" .......... Con apps cannot be edited. Only Democratic apps can be edited.

Gotta remember that.

1. Mitt had nothing to do with the spelling on his iPhone app.

2. Nazi death camps were located in Poland. Bad choice of words.

3. Dan Quayle - a college educated guy - corrected a student and spelled POTATOE in front of a classroom.

4. H. Eugene Stevens confused the 2nd Amendment with the 4th Amendment before a graduating class.

Slip-ups do happen. No big deal. No harm done. These guys are all very well educated and knew what was right or wrong but the tongue - or programmer - just got slipped for a second.

Glad you can be so magnanimous when the object of your protectiveness is "The Amateur" in charge.

But, with all your attacks on any Republican who makes any kind of verbal gaffe in the past, don't be upset if I just dismiss your insincerity at this time.

Sometimes it's just very entertaining to play with the desperate lefties. I don't know about you, but I'm smiling here.

Your recent trip to Disney must have been good. I see "Goofy" is now writing your posts.

Since Mitt Romney is now the official Republican candidate, I am not making fun of the Republican candidate anymore. I will point out where I think they (Romney or VP pick) are wrong or mistaken about something or differ from my viewpoint but see no need to make fun of them.

Did I say anywhere that I was making a comparison?
But, now that you raise the issue. Have you ever misspoke? I think. Has every President in history misspoke at one time or another? I think. Is it the big deal that you make it out to be? I think not. :grumpy:

...whether slip ups such have been discussed (way too much already in my opinion) make either Obama or Romney any less qualified to be POTUS?

The leftists have been ardently putting this guy on a pedestal, and it's fun to see him tarnished up there.

I've seen gleeful jabs taken at Republicans for less notable verbal gaffe's for years.

Now that it's directed at "The Amateur", we're supposed to say "aww, everybody's done it; nothin' to see here"

Good luck with that.
