Sarah Jessica Parker has an ad running on TV that invites people to take part in a fundraising sweepstakes wherein someone will be able to join her & the Obamas for dinner at her housel. barf

I just wonder if that's an entirely legal way to raise money for political ad campaigning.

'Sex and the City' star wants to dine with you and Obama (http://now.msn.com/entertainment/0604-parker-obama-ad?ocid=media_nowcontrol2)

This is no different than last week's donation contests to have lunch with Mitt Romney and Donald Trump. I sent $10 to not have lunch with Trump. In SJP's contest, you don't have to have sex in the city.

I received an e-mail from the Obama campaign with a similiar lottery for dinner with Presidents Clinton and Obama as well as one for President Obama and Clooney. Costs $3 to enter the lottery. If you win the lottery they pay the airfare. Not sure what happens with the hotel, cab, and other expenses though.
