AWESOME is right. The creator of the universe sure does nice work! The views of the surface of the sun are amazing and the music made it even more enthralling.

Great video. I was mighty disappointed at the cloud cover yesterday. Watched it on TV instead on NASA's channel. Hoping for better weather for the next transit in 2117.

With the next one due in 2117, we just had our "once in a lifetime" opportunity.
Thanks, Russ, that was a great video!

With the next one due in 2117, we just had our "once in a lifetime" opportunity. Not only that, but it also comes to mind that most people born at least within the next decade will never ever get as much as a single chance of seeing it happen at all!

Cool video. Thanks.
There was supposed to be a viewing scope at LSL yesterday from 5-7 p.m. Headed down there at 6:30 when the sun came back out but no scope. Kind of disappointed because of the importance of the event. I understand that it was raining hard earlier, but Clark Barrios played when it stopped; the "astronomers" should have been ready also when the sun came out before 7. IMHO
