This has nothing to do with gas v electric, just how many miles a day on average do U drive.
If you have an odometer it's easy but if not figure it by time/speed etc.

My normal is less than 10 on a round trip. But once a week I go up to 20.

Probably 10 miles a day. I use it when I'm late and don't feel like getting into the heavy vehicle traffic in the winter.

Kathie,
I thought every TV household had at least 1 golf cart! I'll bet you're waiting for one with a solar-powered cart top, that can get you 100 miles a day. Yup, that must be it <g>.

Um... not that's an ironic suggestion, Gene. KathieI would probably be the last person in TV who would get a solar powered cart!
Think about it. A solar powered cart needs sunshine. Nighttime is the right time for the incomparable KathieI.

When you own a golf cart. You purchased it to learn to relax and slow down. Personally I drive it as much as possible everyday. I get to really look around at the world. To see the beauty all around me. To hear the sounds of nature. To smell the flowers and cut grass. I even stop at a bench once in a while just to ponder how lucky I am to be able to slow down and live in such a wonderful place. I get to wave hello to those that pass and they do wave back. I don't know how many miles I drive a day while I look at all the lakes, birds. clouds in the sky. Finally there is no more rush in my life. Count the miles LOL.

75 votes and counting. Lets shake the nest one more time....
I put myself in the 10-20 category with bursts into the 40s on crazy and unusual days. Of course on my 12 mile days, 3 - 6 of them are off road south of 466A. Man I will miss that space ....

Maybe KathieI could hang a bright bulb in her garage for daytime charging of her solar-powered golf cart! Then she'd be "charged up" for her nighttime trips. <g>

Our golf cart probably gets between 10-20 miles a day on average, but I only use it to drive up to the postal center to get the mail and walk my pooch. Other members of the household use it for more trips. So, I hit the under 10 option in this poll.

LOL.... I'm a little smarter than that, PT, I would park it outside all day to get charged up for my nighttime agendas... hahahaha...
Truth be told, I am a little leery of driving a cart in the wee hours as I feel more vulnerable in it than in my SUV.

I agree. Would much rather be in a heavier vehicle when the drunks are out and about here in the Villages. There are alot more creatures out at night too like coyotes, owls, possum, etc.
