If you like draft beer, Cody's at LSL you can get a 32 oz draft for $3.75 until 6pm, or they will give you two 16 oz if you prefer. I like the nice big heavy 32 oz mug, I usually get Coors Lite and it's very cold and they have all the free peanuts you want all over the place.

Nice thing about Cody's is the 2 for 1's begin when they open at 11 am and continue until 7 pm. Too bad it is not for bottled beer, too.
Bonifay Country Club is good, too. Sam Adams draft for $1.65 for 16 oz from 2 until 5 and they have their drinks of the day like Martini Monday, Tequilla Tuesday, Wine Wednesday, Iced Teas Thursdays and I have never made it there for the others. Those drink specials are $2.

For 499 you get a drink the pizza buffet dessert buffet and the salad bar the dessert buffet is okay the pizza is lousy salad bar you cannot screw up so makes for great place to go and eat low-calorie salad cheap

Our fav was Red Sauce at LSL. They had $3 glasses of wine (cheap beer..cant remember the price) and $2 meatball sliders 11 am to 4 pm. Sadly we went last Sat and were told they stopped offering the sliders May 31 but the wine and beer deal is still available. I'm hoping the sliders will return with the snowbirds.

To me, a good happy hour is one with:
a good selection of dark draft beers (can't stand the light beers)
goes until at least 6 PM (very frustrating to walk in at 5:05 from the course and pay full price)
has half-price rather than 2-for-1; if the latter, please don't bring both at the same time
Some places have met this criteria in the past (e.g. Bonifay), but have changed their policies.

I can't pick a favorite! I remember when I came for my LSV in May and we would stop in the afternoon for a break. Almost everywhere we went was offering some kind of "happy hour special" it was like we were in bar heaven! But I guess I would have to say that I liked sitting outside at City Fire watching the crowds pass by!
