Recently moved from TV. Used Little John's movers. DON'T! Whole move was a nightmare. Damaged furniture, late arrivals, etc. Always a "story" for the problems. Would rent a truck myself before using this company again. Beware!

We closed last month and had our PODS delivered. To unload it, PODS has a sister service we hired. They showed up without the baby grand dolly, had never moved a baby grand, and after many calls, the moving service contractor said that although I was charged to move a baby grand, they did not have equipment nor experience to do so....we had them stop as soon as they got to the piano, which was located mid-way into the 16' PODS.
Using our new telephone book, we called The Village Mover and left a message regarding assistance to unload and set up a baby grand. Mike Collup, the owner, called back promptly and assured us he could help us....at 7:30am the next morning! The price was reasonable, they were on time and courteous. Relief! They unloaded the rest of the PODS as well. Success.
I'll be coming down with another trailer, and guess who I am calling to unload it? The Village Mover.

We had our PODS in northern Virginia. It arrived the week before us to Longwood, FL (the nearest PODS warehouse). We arranged delivery of the PODS the day we closed on our new home, with the Moving Services scheduled for the next day. So, yes, it was a long distance move.
