I have noticed while looking for pre-owned homes that there are some, besides the CYV, that have privacy fences. Is there a particular Village where these are located?

There is a neighborhood in Hemingway, the street is Nash Loop. Most of them have lots with privacy fences. As far as I know it is the only one. Most are ranches or cottage homes.

Hemingway fences was an experiment. I guess there are no more. When you have seen a few with fences it may be that the home backed up to a Courtyard Villa neighborhood or backed up to say an area that was fenced by TV say to an entrance area of a village.

I wonder why they didn't continue to have more of these? You would think with all of the dog families that they would have been a popular addition.

We have them in Bison. They put the fences on the property line. Thus who is going to clean the outside of the fence. Some are covered in green algae. Just like vinyl siding homes.. Do you want people in your yard with pressure washers cleaning their fence???? Or better yet, if all your neighbors get fences,, that means that your yard is fenced in not by choice?????

Although I LOVE privacy, the reason TV looks so beautiful is because there are no fences of all kinds on everyones property.

I also agree that the green that grows on fences is not pretty.

We lost our best furry friend last year and so when we get to TV, no more furry friend for me. Could not bear another broken heart.

I have 2 energetic and very loving dogs, and as much as I would like the convenience of the fences for the purpose of letting the dogs out into the yard, I have to agree they do not make for a pretty picture overall. The landscaping in everyone's yards is so pretty, and the fences would make it akward. The homes along the golf courses would have the views blocked, for which there is a lot premium, and they do get dirty... I will remedy that by getting a couple of tie-outs to use just first thing in the morning, then will walk my pups which is better for all of us! I had kind of wondered about that as well, but I find I mostly walk the dogs anyways, even here in IL, and it's nice to have all the pretty homes to pass by and say hello to neighbors!
