I'm just a wannabee, so this is not a decision I have to make anytime soon, but I'm really liking the electric cart that comes with the house I'm renting much more than the gas golf carts I used last year while renting. Salesman at Villages Golf Store at LSL told me yesterday that an electric golf cart with a Curtis cab enclosure will have less range (driving distance) between charges because the Curtis cab enclosure adds 250 lbs. to the golf cart. Anyone with an electric cart with a Curtis cab enclosure care to comment on that?

I don't have one, but "weight will stop a freight train" so in theory I think he's correct.
