You might try sponsor Steve's Onsite Services...he does a number of handyman type chores, he is good on a ladder, hard worker, honest, and rates are reasonable.

Thank you all for the replies to my request on gutter cleaning. I went with Mark Oliver, as he was the first to return my phone call. We are very happy with the work he just did. He is even going to do a small repair job on the gutter so it works properly. He always called to reschedule..as the rain interfered with gutter work. His price was very reasonable.

Mark Oliver at 352 793 8100. Cleaning gutters is his primary business. We have used him for over 3 years.

Based upon this recommendation I called Mark Oliver at 352-793-8100 and scheduled a gutter cleaning.

He arrived promptly at the scheduled time. Within five minutes he assessed the problem, which was not leaves in the gutters, but a plugged downspout.

At the time of installation of the downspout a piece of metal was left protruding inside the bend at the bottom. Leaves built up there and then dried and hardened, making future water flow next to impossible.

Mark cleaned the clog quickly and we arranged for a future change in the water flow. I have never liked having the downspout flow across the front sidewalk, and am having this changed to flow into a flowerbed.

Mark said that I did not need screening over my gutters to keep the leaves out at the present time, but I might need it in a few years as my front yard oak tree grew larger. I was impressed that he did not try to sell me something that I do not presently need.

Mark's price was most reasonable. I recommend him highly.

Thanks, bimmertl, for the recommendation.
