Don't want to negative, but I do not believe you should have the wood chips up against your home wall. Nothing should touch any part of the house unless you want critters and rot. Believe there should be at least 6 to 8 inches between the bottom of the siding/wall and any dirt or wood chips. Other than that, it looks nice.

So, do you have to get permission to landscape even if you use a landscaper?

It does look very nice. Like the stone work but I was also wondering about Termites and Wood products.:undecided: Maybe the bark is treated. I am ignorant on Florida landscaping. Will admit that. Out of my comfort zone- No car parts!

It is very nice,
but I also read that 6-8 inch rule, you may want to think about rake them back a bit. The 6-8" is supposed to be dry next to house, if its under mulch it will create damp hiding where they can migrate to the house.
