We were their in April. Here are a few suggestions>

1> Ask your agent for tickets to a Savannah Center show. Hopefully you will enjoy!

2> We enjoyed dinners at Cane Gardens and Nancy Lopez so check out the Country club restaurants.

3> Fun to use your cart as much as possible

4> Not sure if SS will be open for entertainment but if is I would check it out.

I'm sure you will get some more great ideas. Enjoy!

I will second the endorsement for Nancy Lopez Country Club for dinner. Go on a Monday night for some of the best lobster tails you have eaten.

Consider a re-sale home instead of buying a lot and then building on it. Much better deals with a re-sale. You can negotiate price with the owner, no construction around you, mature landscaping, many extras already in the home, low or no bond (can save thousands on that), and you can see what is around you instead of being surprised when something is built by you - like what some people near 466A found out with a 3-story assisted living complex blocking their views now.

Go to Katie Belles and hopefully see a Rocky & The Rollers show.

I was there in May for my LSV! Spent a lot of time looking at model homes, pre-owned and lots... Also many fun hours on the golf carts trying to learn my way around TV. Got lost once or twice, but had a lot of fun exploring how to get back on track. I enjoyed sitting out in LSL at City Fire talking to lots of Frogs. Checked out some of the country clubs and one rec center. Went to a few golf cart places, the cruise in, entertainment on the squares. Saw some pickle ball (sp) and did some shopping.
Oh- one more thing. Bring your checkbook!
Have a great time and enjoy TV!

Northstar, Definitely go to some open houses -- both new and preowned. Get the Daily Sun each day to check out which open houses are available. Open houses are held daily in TV, not just on weekends. Take the trolley tour from the TV sales office at Lake Sumter Landing -- it's narrated by a TV resident and lasts about 1 hour. Go to the squares each night to watch the dancing and listen to the music. Hopefully Spanish Springs will be open by early July (the square at Spanish Springs is closed for repairs, but the stores, movie theatre and restaurants at Spanish Springs are open). Definitely go to Katie Belles. Enjoy your time.

We did a LSV last September and had a GREAT time. Bought a home in February. Moving down in September. My only advice is talk to everyone you see and ask questions like crazy. That's what we did and never met an unpleasant person. Everyone was sooo nice!

I'm so excited for you! You're in for a wonderful time!
