Can anyone recommend a tv repair person or shop. I have a tv that has a power problem. The red light comes on indicating it is receiving power bu it will not go from the standby mode to power mode.

With the low cost of a TV today, that business (repair) will be a dinasaur shortly, if it isn't already.

:agree: with exception of the big-screen TV's, it has become a "throw-away" technology. TV repair shops are getting as scarce as hen's teeth.

I had a problem with my Samsung 40" and it was less then 2 years old. Samsung referred me to:
Silver Springs TV @ 352-732-0711
They came out that day and fixed the problem for $75
