"eWitt, Mich. — The protesters popping up at Mitt Romney's rallies throughout Michigan Tuesday look like run-of-the-mill grassroots liberals — they wave signs about "the 99 percent," they chant about the Republican's greed, and they describe themselves as a loosely organized coalition of "concerned citizens."
They're also getting paid, two of the protesters and an Obama campaign official told BuzzFeed.
At the candidate's afternoon stop outside a bakery in DeWitt, a group of about 15 protesters stood behind a police barricade, a few of them chanting in support of Obama. Asked why he was protesting, a man dressed in a grim reaper costume pointed a reporter to a pair of "designated representatives" standing in the shade.
"I can't talk, you gotta get one of those people over there to talk to y'all," he said. "They're the ones who can talk to reporters."
Neither of the representatives agreed to give their names, but two protesters said they were getting paid to stand outside of the rally, though their wage is unclear: one said she was getting $7.25 per hour, while another man said they were being paid $17 per hour. "

Ok...we have one person who agrees with paying hecklers...any more up-standing Americans ?
Oh, and Romney was in the "big leagues" saving the Olympic games and serving as Governor while Obama was a young man serving in the Illinois senate, so think maybe he understands better than....well, he understands.
By the way, I thought the link was funny, but glad you had the nerve to support the paying of hecklers....

Listen you already voiced your approval for those antics...no need to reinforce.
Also, two other things......in reading this post where you just realized what I meant, my question would be what was your initial response to ??
Secondly, as I said this was posted in humor but never ever thought would get at least two folks to find the practice to be something good !!!
You just never know

The humorous part is that this happened in Michigan where Mitt Romney said "Let Detroit go bankrupt". Seems like there would be thousands of people volunteering to heckle Romney for free.

Come November a lot of Repubs are gonna be out of a job - they'll need a jobs bill.
Very smart of Willard to campaign in Michigan - where he has no chance of winning.
Even Rasmussen has Obama up by 8 in MI.

Maybe Romney should start digging in his own deep pockets (from the Cayman Islands?) and paying some Republicans to hang out at Obama campaign stops. He will be doing some good.

Want to place any bets that the Republicans have not done the same thing somewhere at some time?

Mitt Romney's "Every Town Counts Tour" skips town battered by Bain Capital.
Romney did not stop in Freeport, IL where Bain Capital-owned "Sensata is moving forward with the process of relocating jobs from operations in Freeport to China".
Romney's tour should be renamed "Some Towns Count".

The lefties have no shame or conscience when it comes to "The Anointed One". They will defend anything the Obama Team does. It's truly a cultist devotion to a man over a country. It's an occurrence in our history that I wouldn't have believed if you told me it could happen.

Sounds like a nutty and cheesy post to me.
As I said earlier, would you like to believe that Republicans have not done the same thing as paying hecklers at Democrat campaign stops at some time? I do not have examples but am quite sure it has been done.

The "Anointed One" won the 2008 election in a landslide victory and now leads Mitt Romney, in the latest Bloomberg National Poll by 13 points, 53-40%.

We have a case of it proven to be true over your supposition that "everybody must be doing it"?
Unbelievable.
I will categorically state that it has never been done by Republicans, while being done by Democrats.
The evidence is on my side until proven otherwise.

My defense of the 'anointed amateur' is devotion to a man who is trying to do incredible good for this country in the face of obstructionist, 'don't give a damn about country just oppose Obama' right wing Republicans. :cus:

I have a suggestion for you and anyone who feels this way....READ...READ...READ.
While I will agree that both parties are inept and play games, this oft used thought you present is simply the party line and has not much basis in fact.
Fact is, if you read the shenanigans going on in the Senate you would be REALLY shocked if that claim you made shocks you. The use of majority leader not allowing things come to a vote, the changing of how a proposal is funded to make it impossible to get the other side to agree and then publicly claiming that Republicans are AGAINST such and such. That is dishonest and certainly disingenuous at best. BUT you dont read that and I crticize the Republicans for not raising sufficient news with this stuff.
My comments are not meant to be a defense of the Republicans in anyway, but a HUGE sound of disapproval for the sneaky little games being played INCLUDING the giving out of information like that in Dem press releases.
I have pointed out on here some of those instances and folks like you just dont read them and go on to another thread that will make you feel better.
