Does anyone have the phone number for the lawn business people who live in the village of Liberty Park. They drive smart cars and have their business ads "wrapped" around their cars. His name is Mike. I am trying to get them to cut my grass and thought I had their card, but can't find it. If anyone knows their phone number, (or if you are their neighbor and know their address), please pass it along. Thanks!

That is actually a Scion iQ, not a Smart Car. They are neighbors several houses down that we have not met yet. I expect to meet them soon because I want to switch mowing companies from riders to push mowers when our current pre-pay runs out.

The owner recently quoted me a price for push mower service that was $10 higher than my current rider service. The theory is that they don't create the ruts that a heavy rider mower makes, especially from mowing in the same pattern each time.
I am considering the push mower service. Does anyone have real experience to prove the theory, and a recommendation of who to use?

if the mower is push or ride, what matters is the pattern that they are mowed and if pattern is changed...Of course a riding mower makes deeper ruts....Some mowings look like corn rows because they mow the same way every time...

Can I get their number for my neighbor. She is thinking of changing services as they are getting deep ruts in their lawn from the riding mowers. Thanks.

The important thing is not to mow your lawn when the ground is wet. That packs the soil.

I just switched to Stellar because they use push mowers. Very nice people to deal with.

Just a couple of thoughts to consider when making your decision. A push mower cuts the blades of grass cleanly if the mower blades are kept sharp. Gas mowers tend to rip. The gas mowers pollute and leave a carbon footprint. They are also noisy. Personally, I do prefer the nice soft, buzzy sound of a push mower.

How much can you expect to pay for push mower cutting? I am paying $50/month now for rider mowing & weed control.

moved to TV 18 months ago. Diagnosed with spinal problems so mowing even our tiny lawn would put me on the floor in pain. I liked their car and their marketing and trust me... These people are great and while I won't quote how much I pay it's very very reasonable. Best part is when they arrive I often don't know it. They don't rattle the neighborhood with the sit down mowers and teams of men with trimmers and blowers.
Very polite people and always a smile.
That's what it's all about in TV

Unless I'm wrong I think we're talking about regular self-propelled walk-behind gas lawnmowers. Are you talking about a "reel" mower?"

There are a number of Lawn Maintenance Cos. that use push mowers. They are as good as the people they have working for them.

I would like the # of Just Push Mowers if someone could provide -- Have seen them in my area a couple of times as they drive around our cul de sac but never in a place where I can write down the #.
Tks.

That theory is absolutely 100% correct. I now push mower only with TerraScape.
