Are there TV rules (not county) concerning the installation of an underground residential pool? Also, are there any recommendations on a pool installer?

We had a pool Installed when we built our home. It was done by T&D Pools. The Villages uses them when putting in pools for new builds. We are very happy with the outcome....it's wonderful!

Also, are there any recommendations on a pool installer? We are having our T&D Pools salesman coming over tomorrow for us to execute the contract and give the $1000 deposit. T&D has installed many pools in The Villages including for the developer. They basically take care of pretty much everything except for making the pool payments for us. This also includes taking care of submitting the plans to the Architectural Review Board for approval. If you decide to look into T&D, contact Charlie Yocum, our salesman at 352-748-3987. He's been very pleasant and helpful to work with!

Fiesta Pools of Ocala built our pool last year. Was pleased with all aspects of the installation.
For more info on pools here is another thread.

The answer to your first question is yes. There are Villages regulations on the location of any pool. Lots has been written here about pools and the overwhelming choice for a quality builder is T&D. They take care of everything, except as the poster above says, the payment. You should consult with them, not only to get a quote, but to see how many choices there are for building a great asset to your home. We absolutely love our pool/spa and still think T&D is the best contractor we've ever hired to do any project anywhere. We still are in touch with our T&D designer/builder husband and wife team. They take such pride in what they do. The only concern they've had over the years is how large the company has become and their constant challenge to deliver excellent customer service. The builder tells me to give his name and cell number to any customer who might think the process is taking too long. If you think that's happening, send me a PM.
