According to golfthevillages.com all golf, exec and champ, is cancelled for Wednesday.
Hmmm, wonder why....not much rain yesterday or today. I played redfish at 11:30 today and it was in good shape.
Anyway, an FYI for those of you who have reservations for Wenesday.

JUST tried to go online to check this site...but TheVillages.com has a post that says the site is "down" for maintenence!!

Ah Hah.. the evil side of me is gloating. Now none of the rest of you can play either. hee hee hee.
I get out of this orthopedic boot on July 21st. I hope I remember how to draw back the club after 16 LONG weeks off the course.

My neighbor, who I am supposed to golf with WED, said he heard that same info on the radio!

Probably because they are running all the golf course sprinklers to lower the retention ponds.

The latest notice on Golf The Villages.com has some courses opening at noon today and say to call the appropriate starter for tee times..
Championship courses Orange Blossom, Tierra, Palmer and Bonifay will now open.
Exec courses Silver Lake, Hilltop, De La Vista, Belmont, Turtle Mound, Sandhill, Tarpon Boil, Redfish Run, Bonita Pass, Yankee Clipper and Southern Star will all open.
