I am not from New York, but I worked 20 years for New York Life, if that counts. As far as meeting great new people, don't worry, the vast majority of people you meet in The Villages will be great people. I don't need to tell you, but have fun!

We built on Birdsong Place. Closed in January. Also in NY (Hudson Velley) but born in Brooklyn and raised on LI. Big Yankees fan. Our golfcart is blue & white with Yankee decal. I am the big fan, my husband is because of me!. We will not be full time for a while till retirement but will go whenever we can. Going to be down for 10 days in March, can't wait!
