Types of siding

We are getting closer and closer, we think, to the big decisions. We know we want the Sunflower or the Begonia, difference being siding. The Sunflower comes with a clapboard type siding as an upgrade, and is a little less than the stucco look on the Begonia. Does anyone have any experience withi it? :confused::confused::confused:We know we don't want the vinyl. Thanks all!

Love mine! It was just offered as a option when we went to the design team in October. Very Very solid and tight fitting to the home. Provides extra insulation to your home and a nice wind and rain barrier.

That was what we thought it would do and am glad to hear it. I love the look compared to the other types.

Love mine! It was just offered as a option when we went to the design team in October. Very Very solid and tight fitting to the home. Provides extra insulation to your home and a nice wind and rain barrier.I would ask the R value as that will tell you the insulation value beinging added.

190 mph wind protection reduces noise 30% 1/14 inch foam incorporated into the siding. R value of 3.

Talked to my contractor and this product took me away from a block home in less than a lost nights sleep tossing between the two. Once the home was up I'm good! After the driving rains of Debbie and no home wall leaks I'm feeling real good.

Price was a upgrade but not as much as the shakes.

In Baldwin Park (Orlando) we had Hardiboard cement siding over block and the paint lasts 10+ years.
Our neighbors with stucco fewer years.
We now have stucco here (what are gonna do?) over block.
My thought is def. go block with what ever looks best in your opinion on your model home.
