My brother and his wife lives in Ocala and I was wondering why I couldn't get a guess pass for them to use the pools with us for one day. Or even play Bocce, shoot pool at the club houses. Is there any special one day passes for family members to use? When they visit us all we do is play cards or go shopping or out to eat. Would love them to be able to do somethingelse for a change. Any suggestions?

Depends what county they live in. If they live in Sumter, Lake, or Marion counties, the answer is no. If they were your children or grandchildren in those counties, the answer is yes. However, any relative other than children or grandchildren cannot get a guest pass for The Villages if they live in Sumter, Lake, or Marion counties.
If they live in any other Florida county, the answer is yes.

They live in Marion county. I'm not asking for a week long pass just a day one.i know that in the winter everything gets crowded but in the summer I figured that one could be obtained. I would even pay for a one day pass.

Hi Delima,
The rules are as previous posters stated. I know it seems like just two passes and just for one day. The problem is, multiply that my several thousand Villagers who might want to buy a one day pass from time to time for their relatives or friends who live nearby.
The rules are not perfect, and don't satisfy everyone, but these are nonetheless the rules.
