We are both diabetic. Went to our local TGI Fridays. Took a good long read of their menu. There was literally nothing on that menu including the salads that did not include a lot of sugar. We had to leave.

A real testimonial to great service and great food. The food was cold, the food was not tasty. Let's go back next week and give the Grandson another lesson on how to get a free meal. :evil6:

I agree, when you complain at TGIFridays they do give you a free meal or a free appetizer, which is a nice gesture. It just seems though that the food there is very inconsistent for a chain restaurant. I've had my own problems with cold food or food that wasn't as it should be at this place and don't go there very often even though I have lots of free coupons.

that reply is very offensive. i did not ask for anything and was totally prepared to pay the whole bill. we also left our server a $20 tip since it was not their fault. being a restaurant owner, i never ask for anything free. know the facts before you post.

I think it is a prime example of excellent customer service.

I think it was very thoughtful of you to leave a large tip.

Like you said, the server didn't do anything wrong.

Kudos to the manager.

:agree: I saw TGIF when we were there. It looked lost and lonely with so many new places for me to try but if I lived there it might be a diamond in the rough. Happy Hour? :wine:

I've only eaten at the TGIF's in TV a couple of times, but both times my food and service were very good.

tgi fridays is a good value; we enjoy it, the food is always tasty, and other than them allowing smokers on the patio, it is a good place for a quick meal.

As a matter of fact we ate there last night. The place was very busy but everything went smoothly. We each had 2 for 10$ dinners which featured a huge lettuce wedge salad and chicken brushetta. Both were excellent and we also had great service from our waitress Penny. Great evening spent.:clap2:
