We currently have AT&T cell service. How's their service in TV. We don't recall having problems when were were visiting TV, but before we purchase new phones and extend our contract wanted to make sure. We plan to move by December. Thanks.

Some folks have no real issues with AT&T's service in TV...........others do. Purportedly, AT&T is going to improve their service in the 466A area sometime this fall which should help those in that area.
There are several existing threads regarding the topic - tons of opinions on those. Here are a couple:

They all work pretty good, it seems to be the luck of the draw, you will always find one or two people who doesn't like it...I have the straight talk from wal-mart (sprint) just Love, love , love it... Un-limited Phone, Web & text for $45 a mo...there is another plan $45 for the 1st phone $35 for the 2nd a mo....(T-Moblie) I was on Verizon (which I loved too) but hated to pay $72 a mo just for phone service no extras!

Thanks for the info. We don't plan on having a land line when we move so want to feel confident the cell service will be good at our house. During our design meeting in August we should be able to judge if we feel good about it. I'm concerned we may need to purchase a new phone before we move. Don't want to get stuck in a contract for a phone that's useless.

It just depends on where you be most of the time. Our house is in the Village of James (about a half mile north of 466a), and the phone is almost completely unusable in house. Coverage is good at Lake Sumter Landing. Last trip down I borrowed Sprint cellphone and it worked great at house and poorly at Lake Sumter Landing . I've come to the conclusion that only Verizon has good coverage through most of the area.

:BigApplause: We had "Metro PCS" in N.Y., and loved it. We tried it here during our 2 LSV, and it worked great. We haven't had any trouble with it for the 9 months we're living here. We have 2 phones, unlimited local & long distance, unlimited data, free directory assistance, unlimited email and picture mail, and a GPS on one of our 2 phones. We also have free back-up, and we have insurance on our phones. Our total bill for the 2 phones is $83.00 a month. I highly recommend "Metro PCS". Oh, BTW. I don't work for them, I'm just pleased with the service LOL. Hope this is helpful, Trish

We live South of 466A in Hadley. We have ATT. Most of the time I have 1 bar in my house. It's better out in the driveway. There are certainly some dead spots in my house. Other than in the house the service is good. We had originally Verizon. Bought new phones, signed a contract and then when we were in our house we couldn't make any calls. The phone seemed to be fighting as to which tower to use. That was a couple of years ago. We turned in our Verizon phones and that's when we got the AT&T. It could be our house, who knows? It might be worth asking your neighbors what service they use so you know what works in your neighborhood. We are looking forward to ATT installing the new towers out this way.
