It's INDEPENDENCE DAY!!!

First and foremost, I want to THANK all our veterans and those serving right now to protect our freedom so we may enjoy a day such as today.!! Thank you for the "ultimate sacrifice" you make everyday and God Bless your families.

It is with some sadness today that I also must recognize that our 'FREEDOMS" we are so accustomed to are being "Stripped" away layer by layer" everyday as the government gets bigger and more intrusive in our lives.
And most of you will celebrate with barbecues, parades, fireworks, etc... without even giving a THOUGHT to what it truly is we celebrate on this day!!

enjoy today because Next July 4th may be the "beginning of the end of your Independence!!!

Remember to keep on reminding your friends and family to get out and vote. Voter apathy could be a major element in winning or losing this election.....just like it did in 2008.
I can't tell you how many people I have heard say they think they will just skip this election. Some do not like Romney. That is when I pursue with them if there was another candidate would they vote and they said yes. Then I pursue why they would vote for another candidate instead of Obama. And when they are done I then ask why they are willing to allow Obama to be re-elected instead of voting for Romney. Too many say they just don't/didn't think of it that way!!!! Really????????????????

The above is especially true with the younger voters in the family.....so I haunt them or shame them until they get out to vote.

You all must do the same.

If we all don't get out and vote the next 4th of July might well be known as Dependence Day, for you will be depending on the Government for everything.

I do the same thing Figmo but I also remind them IF they have children and grandchildren to especially do it for them!!! So they may have the same opportunities we had in this country. You can be successful if you choose to get out and work hard instead of sitting home loving those handouts!! And the more handouts the gov't gives out, the more people expect it.
