Do you really think that you really own your home that you have paid all the money for? Think again, there is NO private property ownership in the United States and has not been since our criminal pols found that one favorite tax, the property tax. The state owns all property, if you don't believe me, just miss your property tax this year and see who owns your house, there are no more homes, just houses since the state owns all of them.
If the TEA party really wanted smaller government, this is the place to start. Cut off the money and the BS walks.

And how would YOU pay for police, fire and schools? (and roads, and other infrastructure).
Oh yeah - if you're a church, you don't have to pay.

Easy sales tax or a VAT, that way its like the Dems want, everyone pays a fare share on what you use, the more you use the more you pay.

If a VAT were vigorously and consistently appled, with no exceptions, that would take care of all the corporate and personal loopholes in the current tax code. But read those words carefully...vigorously and consistently. You can be sure the lobbyists would be working on "tweaking" the language of a VAT tax bill the moment Congress starts thinking about one.

I would not have been concerned about this property tax issue until the court handed down the Kelso v New London decision
I am also concerned abut any talk of sales taxes or VAT's because politicians feel an entitlement to our hard earned income, something like the Sheriff of Nottingham. So it doesn't matter what taxing scheme they use it will only grow and widen and we can't stop them
