Just curious if anyone lived in Rose Towers at the University of Alabama in Tuscaloosa. It was imploded yesterday. It was originally for married students and I lived there from 1969 to 1971. Our apartment faced the Black Warrior River.

Sorry to hijack the thread...my employer manufactures the chemicals that we sell to our customers at my company's facility in Tuscaloosa. We call the facility the "Black Warrior Refinery." Now I know where that name comes from.

As long as we're hijacking, yes the Black Warrior River is a major river in North Alabama which feeds into the Tombigbee River down to Mobile Bay.
