I just came back from an appointment wirh a Dr. Rwaubani ? She is a urogynecologist in LSL. I had a very strong recomendatio for her and I agree completely. She practices in Urinary incontenece and Pelvic Surgery. She is in the new Medical Center on Old Camp Road.
I asked for a referral for an Internist and she gave me this one.

Dr. Felix Chiebonam Agbo, MD (2.0 miles)
Internist
910 Old Camp Rd, Suite 144
The Villages, FL 32162

I am switching over to him. I have heard that he treats the patient not the symptoms. He does this with respect for the patient. Sounds too good to be true. I will update you on my experience. He was trained in Nigeria I believe. There they are trained to diagnose doing physical examination rather than throwing a lot of tests at a patient. :Screen_of_Death:

:BigApplause: I like this approach.

Please let me know how he is. Right now the doctor we are going to wants all these test done and I just can't afford them. He also has us coming back every three months. The doctors in Michigan we saw every year unless there was something wrong . Husband is in good health but they still want to run all kinds of tests. His blood work that was done showed nothing wrong but in three months they want another blood test.

What you have heard is correct.:agree: My husband & I are both medical professiomals and we found Dr. Agbo attentive, communicative and doesn't push unnecessary tests , treatments and meds on you. I actually enjoyed my 2 visits with him...LOL
Besides Nigeria, Dr. Agbo trained in England and Mount Sinai in NY.

Think you've made a good choice.
