My wife and I have purchased a lot in Fernadina and will be meeting with the Design team in early September. It will be about 3 years before we retire but very excited about becoming TV's.

In reading your post, my wife and I both thought the same thing....WE could have written the exact same post. We just bought a lot and will be coming to meet with the design team in September. We bought in 209 Fernandina on Eastfield Path. Hope to be furnishing it by the end of November! What fun when we actually get to move in, but that won't be for some time. We have three years as a target, but you never know!! Good luck with your new adventure!!

It really is a small world. We bought a lot in Fernandina 205 in May. Our design meeting will take place next May and home built by, maybe, Sept/Oct 2013. After that we will be visiting from time to time until we retire permanently which is about 4 to 5yrs away. I already can't stand the waiting.:faint:

We bought a new Cottage in Sanibel in April with the intentions of part timimg it for a couple years. We are here now for a couple of weeks and yesterday we signed papers for a lot in Fernandina # 206. Can't stand it any more. We're heading north Sunday to put the house on the market so we can get back down here and start the process.

And if that's not good enough for you, the guy next door to our Cottage knows where you can buy Genesee Cream Ale down here. OMG . . . . I'm in Heaven !!!!!!

Anyone out there headed to Fernandina #206 ?? Also looking for anyone who has or plans to build a Zinnia Designer.

P.S . . . . This place is CRAZY good !!!!

We will be building next summer! Still have a year to work before we retire and head to TV!

Dreamers, what lot are you on in Fernadina 206? It sounds like the people that have bought in Fernadina so far are 3-4 years away from retirement. Will we be all alone when we move down in a year?

The neighbors in lot 5 are moving this week and will be there full time.

Michiganders and shalomuall, we are lot #119 and will be full time as of early Oct! Can't wait. We are from Pennsylvania. We saw people living in a lot behind when we were down last week. We didn't get a chance to meet them however.

Our lot number is 20! There is a house next to our lot but don't know if anyone is in it yet. We are going down in a few weeks to visit the neighborhood and check out all the new building going on. Hope to meet some fellow Fernadinians while we are down there!

Hey Michigan.
We are in section 207 in Fernandina (moved in June 15th) and are up here in Harbor Springs, MI enjoying the cooler weather and the soon to be fall then back to TV.
