obama just signed an executive order to basically take over all communications wired or wireless weather during war or national security event. Isnt it great that our president worries about us so much. Gee you think he can shut Romney ads out. You just never know what comes next. Desperate measures for desperate times

obama just signed an executive order to basically take over all communications wired or wireless weather during war or national security event. Isnt it great that our president worries about us so much. Gee you think he can shut Romney ads out. You just never know what comes next. Desperate measures for desperate timesI wonder why Congress hasn't done anything about the issue before the POTUS found it necessary to issue the executive order? They've only been talking about doing something, holding hearings and committee meetings, since the 111th Congress. But the Democrats and Republicans refuse to agree with one another on anything (except authorizing more spending bills), even though they all say that something should be done to assure communications in times of national emergency.

All Congress has to do to trump the president's executive order is pass a bill addressing the issue. Chances they will get together, create something and vote on it? Phisssh!

I think Obama did the right thing.
