I have used them on a few occasions and most recently I booked a week ahead but have also called a few days ahead. You can also book on line.

There is another service, The Villages Transportation. Their website is:
The Villages Transportation ? Orlando International Airport Shuttle Service (http://www.thevillagestransportation.net/)
There have been previous posts you can search, to locate opinions on one or the other services.

this is NOT their website, that company is NOT The Villages, . the correct one is The Villages Transportation ? Orlando International Airport Shuttle Service (http://www.thevillagestransportation.net) . dont be misled by Village Airport Van. They like to credit themselves with being The Villages and they are NOT...their phone number is 352-259-9398.
The Village Airport Van charges $30 each way, picks you up and drops you off at your door. The Village Transportation charges $30 each way and and an additional $10 to pick you up and drop you off at your door. Plus, they only leave from LSL now.

Village Airport Van operates 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, providing door-to-door service to every location in The Villages. We charge $35 per passenger, each way, and offer discounts to groups of 3 or more, children, and infants. We do not "credit [ourselves] with being The Villages," as we provide a service that is faster, cheaper, and better than all competitors. We can be reached 24 hours a day, 7 days a week at 352-241-2000, or online at www.VillageAirportVan.com.
I am a "snowflake" and travel frequently from Swimdawg North to Swimdawg South. I am VERY familiar with both services and I will definitely give my vote to Village Airport Van. I used The Villages Shuttle Transportation many times....and it was difficult to get a ride to and from Lake Sumter Landing to get the shuttle. They did have a taxi service which transported from/to my home.......but it was a pain! With Village Airport Van, they pick you up at the airport.......take you to your home....and there is no "middle man".....(and visa versa when returning to the airport). Their airport location is directly beneath Southwest/Jet Blue Baggage Claim whereas TV Shuttle is way down the other end of the terminal. I rarely had to wait for the van using Village Airport Van.......just a quick call after I had my luggage and they were there. With TV Shuttle Transport, I would sometimes have to wait well over an hour at the airport for the shuttle to arrive.
I admit that I had issues with Village Airport Van in the beginning but Dan, the owner, has gone the extra mile to make sure that his service is the best. He has hired wonderful drivers and bought nice new vans. His vans are clean and drivers are pleasant. I would highly recommend his service.

My hubby is going to try the airport van this Friday and I have friends flying in next week who will use them, as well. The pick up/drop off at your door is very appealing and the price is very reasonable. I'll be happy to return and give you all a summary of our experiences.

I always use Village Airport Van. LOVE the door to door service. The drivers are always nice and courteous. Yup, they have my vote.
I mostly like the Village Airport Van. The main problem I've had is late night flights. More than once I've had to wait for other late flights - sometimes up to 2 hours.

I often come in late at night....and honestly, I've never had to wait more than 15 minutes....and usually it is just a few minutes after I have called Village Airport Van. However, I do remember waiting for more than an hour using TV Shuttle. I truly believe that Village Airport Van is trying very hard to accommodate their customers.....and IMHO, they are succeeding. :)
