Dick Cheney will open his home today in Jackson Hole, WY to hold a major fund raiser for Mitt Romney. This will be the first time the two will be photographed together. Do you really want to be seen with a guy who left office with a 13% approval rating and has been called the most disliked politician in 50 years? No reports yet on whether George W Bush will attend.
Possibly, if Donald Rumsfeld attends, they can discuss going to war with Iran. If Condi Rice is there, they can discuss the mushroom clouds soon to appear.
Liz Cheney reportedly will be there. Could she be a potential VP pick? Nothing like a Romney/Cheney ticket to get the base fired up.

I have to agree with you on this, he was a very disliked and greedy man. How he can live with all he has done is beyond belief.

I use to attend Republican fund raiser. i had met Dick Cheney and his wife. They were very gracious people There is not question that Dick Cheney is a no nonsense guy but then we need a few no nonsense guys.
I also met and spoke with Bob Dole and found him to be an affable fellow.

Willard should be ok - as long as he doesn't go duck hunting with Dick.

Dick Cheney and Mitt Romney are probably discussing when Cheney will speak at the republican national convention next month in Tampa. Personally, I would like to see this line up for opening night: Congressmen Allen West and Joe Walsh, firing up the crowd; followed by Gov Rick Scott giving the welcoming speech followed by a short talk on medicare fraud; followed by Cheney; followed by George W Bush.
The second night should be all tea-party people followed by Sarah Palin introducing the Vice Presidential candidate. Some suggestions would be; Sen Marco Rubio, talking about credit card fraud; Christine O'Donnell, talking about witchcraft; Sharon Angle, talking about second amendment solutions; Gov. Bob McDonnell, talking about trans-vaginal probes.

Who cares?
The Hollywood Dropouts & Druggies gave Obama $15 million at one dinner and that seems to be okay with those here who long for a more Soviet-gripped regime.

If you have $30,000 for dinner, you too can attend the festivities at Dick Cheney's house. Foster Friess is going to be there. He's the Rick Santorum supporter who said women could just use an aspirin pill between their legs for birth control.
I think the last night of the RNC in Tampa should include all the republican primary candidates; Herman Cain, Rick Santorum, Newt Gingrich, Rick Perry, Michelle Bachmann, Jon Huntsman, and Ron Paul introducing the nominee, Mitt Romney. Then Romney can give his acceptance speech at Raymond James Stadium.

I would not pay 25 cents to attend a steak and caviar dinner with Dick Cheney. He is the Lord of Darkness as far as I am concerned.
I did meet Bob Dole one time in an elevator at Walter Reed Hospital and he was a very nice guy.

Now that would truly be 'must see TV'.....probably make me laugh more than the Seinfeld reruns I've watched multiple times.

The cash-bash was very successful as over $4 million was raised. And the conservatives gripe about George Clooney raising money!
It was downright hilarious that the Romney handlers were not allowing photographs to be taken of Romney and Cheney together. No mention of Junior Bush was made in public, either.
The Romney Republicans are putting great distance between themselves and the former Bush-Cheney administration - which is not surprising considering their approval rating of 22% when they left office and only a 13% approval rating for Cheney.
