This surfaced on TOTV right after it hit the air, its beern around a while. I did enjoy reading some of the comments, though they are about a month old. Many written by villagers, just as many not.

Nothing wrong with Senior Disneylands, where golf is the major activity.

The reporter claims "He (Morse) controls every single facet of life in The Villages". Funny, when I am there I don't realize my life is being controlled. Maybe that is because I am still a snowbird and a wannabe. Once I buy my home there they will afix the electrodes, or maybe the marionette strings - do they do that at closing?

No, it's much more subtle than electrodes or strings. More like brain washing.

A chip is implanted when you get your ID card. It really wasn't painful.

I have no problem with Mr. Morse making money or being a billionaire, however I do feel the CDD boards should be elected by residents after the initial offering and transparency should always be the rule. If true a CDD paid 60 million for assets that only cost 7.5 million, I believe that to be a rip-off and higher payments for residents than necessary. It one thing to make an honest profit and another to take advantage of people.

Oh good. I would like that so much better than the old way where the developer's agents let themsselves in at night and implanted the chip while you slept.
I really don't mind all this Stepford business, but I am going to ask for my money back if my bra size doesn't increase soon.:)
