Azteca's Mexican Restaurant Wildwood Very good!!

We went to Azteca's Mexican Restaurant in Wildwood tonight and ate. It was very good and will go back without any question. The place was empty at 6:30 so if you drive there don't be surprised if very few people are there but don't let that scare you.

They have put some money into redoing this place from the old Italian eatery that was there before. Very clean and all new inside. Food and service was very good. I know if no one else was there the service should be good but that isn't always true often that is a reason no one is there.

It is located in the Wildwood strip center down the row from Ace Hardware and the Wildwood post office. They also have lunch specials. They are closed from 2 - 5 and open again at 5:00.

As much as I would love to agree, we were not wowed. They did say they had plans to improve their menu and use more authentic ingredients including make their own tortilla so we might try it again

Hubby and I have been there a number of times and agree with you. Wonderful Mexican food, and Villagers should venture out of the compound and give it a try.

Except it's not really new. The owner is the owner of El Ranchito. Even the menus when they first opened were the El Ranchito menus. So if I want El Ranchita, I'll get in my golf cart and go.
