We put in a pool and spa and now trying to figure out how to heat it during the cooler months. We have a heat pump but looking to add solar. What are the benefits of adding solar? And who installed your solar?

Jack's Solar installed mine. Running solar is free.

Jack's as well. I think he has a fairly close relationship with T&D. In fact, I think they gave me his card during the design meeting.

Jack is the man.
Does all the work for TD (Developer).
Not only is he reliable and priced right...but you'll enjoy talking to him...he's an interesting & funny guy.

Also had Jack's solar. He took me around the neighborhood to see other installations before we signed with him.

we have solar ONLY and love it. We don't swim in winter months if really cold. We use hot tub. The solar does great job in spring/fall when it's nippy but you still want it heated. ENJOY your pool !! It's the best investment we ever made!! Good luck

solar cover + solar panels + gas heaters for pool and jacuzzi.

We use our pool almost 11 months of the year. Usually January is the coldest month.

T&D did pool and pumps and heaters...Solar Lights & More out of Ocala for the solar panels and installation.

For those with gas heaters remember to run the pool heater for a few minutes each month during the summer. It burns off some of what collects and corrodes due to inactivity...I learned the hard way with a pool heater needing to be replaced after 6 years. I was surprised to learn gas heater life is less than 10 years. The burners corrode just like your gas grill does.

The more efficient heat for colder weather is gas.
