the only numbers that matter are the ones coming from the voting booth. Any polls taken are like trying to put your foot in the same spot more than once in a running river or measuring a passing cloud.

Polls as has been mentioned often are like surveys...designed to yield a preselected end result.

negative campaigning goes back to the days of Adams and Jefferson - but in modern times was perfected by the likes of Tricky Dicky and Lee Atwater.

The smart, informed voter can always ferrot out the truth - which is why Obama leads in almost every poll and will, in all likliehood, win a landslide reelection.
