Was driving North over the bridge ( Morris Blvd ) from LSL yesterday and saw a Yamaha golf cart with two ladies driving on the road, It get better, they turned right and proceeded to drive East on 466. What are these people thinking?????? It was at 1:30pm and I can't blame in on happy hour.

If what the nuns told me is correct, we can only assume that their guardian angels must sit in the corner and pant.

:welcome:Visitors to TV I would hope. We have to be alert while driving around TV at anytime of the day. When driving your cart especially watch going in and out of the tunnels.

Could it have been a street legal cart? They are legal on Morse (but certainly not on 466).

I don't believe Yamaha makes a street legal.

Its a often repeated event here much like autos found driving on the cartpaths. Get use to it because there are some golf cart driver here who can't drive a car any longer and should because of their age/disability not be able to drive a cart. IMHO this causes more problems than carts going 25mph

There are some visitors who think that in a golf cart community, you can drive a golf cart anywhere. Anywhere. And I guess that you can drive a golf cart anywhere you please, unless you get stopped by the police or cause an accident. It's a scary thought.

Barefoot: That's very true. I have a question concerning your username. How does a Canadian go barefoot in Canada? I know...quickly:a040:

I'm surprised they got that far (466) without someone saying something or directing them onto the cart path at the roundabout at Mission Hills.
Lord only knows how or why they got on Morse. I remember "ASS-U-ME" and won't even speculate a guess on how it happened. :faint:

My appologies. Just never seen one here in TV.

Me either, but even if the ladies had one, they still should not have been on 466.

Wow! That's scary! To date, my husband and I have seen a Smart Car driving on a golf cart path, a lady going the wrong way in a round-about, a car that somehow got off the road and drove over a golf cart path and through a fence, a car backing up on Buena Vista, and a car that drove right into the middle of a round-about...hitting the one-way sign and landing on the landscaping shrubs. Just when we think we've seen it all...!!! lol!

:welcome: We were heading back from Red Lobster on 466 and were stopped at the light at Belvedere. Notice two ladies in a golf cart (stopped) about to cross 466 towards Belvedere. The passenger got out, went to the car behind her, talked a minute, then got in the cart and they still crossed 466 anyway. But, I must admit you can get turned around real easy in Southern Trace.
What simply blows my mind is people getting a car on the cart paths. I'm sorry, but you have to be having an real "outer body experience" to not notice you are on a cart path. :ohdear:

Well I guess the good news is we did not read about a tragic accident on 466 involving two women and a golf cart, so their Guardian Angles must have been following them.

The worse situation I've seen was about 6 months ago a man wearing headphones riding a 'Hooveround' down CR466 in front of the school. I turned onto Belvedere before I could see the outcome. It wasn't bad enough where he was, but the headphones was the topper. I'm not the only one to see him, there was a thread on here at the time. It looked something like this.

I was passed on Buena Vista just south of the Savanah Center (I was in my GEM, doing 26 mph) by a mobility scooter. It kinda looked like fun, but I can't help thinking that it has to be dangerous.
