"I am extremely proud to be part of a generation that has voted in our first black president!

With that being said, I am greatly disappointed that our president has not only failed us but almost every promise he has made in 2008 has been broken. In 2008 we were left with a 380 billion dollar deficit increase by President Bush. In only 3 years of office, President Obama has increased that deficit by 5 trillion dollars.

By no means am I a Romney supporter. However (in my opinion) the facts tell me we are unable to afford President Obama for another term.

I hope no one is offended, I am just very passionate and hopeful for our country's future!"

This was posted by my 25 year old nephew on his Facebook page.

I have to say that I am quite proud of him...a great message from our youth of today.

You have every right to be proud. And it is the hope of our future that young people will take a real interest in what their government and their leaders are doing.

But maybe you should whisper in his ear that his facts about who was responsible for which deficits are not correct.

I agree you should be proud. He does not, however, seem to be getting the facts right. We have a Congress that sets the law, the President who supposedly leads in the implementation or vetoing of these laws, and a Supreme Court that tries to keep everything Constitutional.

Not sure whom I am voting for in November. I will have to see what the 4 main candidates (President and Vice President) have to say in the debates.

Congress seems to be as much if not more to blame with respect to the Federal budget mess than President Obama.

at times i am tempted to lose hope in our future as a nation, but your nephew's letter shows that there is still a ray of possibility that our young people will begin to understand things...thank you so much for sharing....

Ceejay's nephew is wrong wrong wrong ask Morgan Freeman because he said Obama is our first black and white president. He is correct in complaining about Obama's lack of leadership, his inexperience and his inability to unite this country

Appears to be a young man who doesn't seem to know a whole lot about what he's talking about.

some of us don't have to wait for the debates. We have been impressed with Obama and Biden and Harry and Nancy for the last 4 years.

Does anybody think what they will have scripted, rehearsed and teleprompted t read at a debate is going to change what they will do next?

You can rearrange the spots on a leopard and call it anything you want, but when you get all done you still have .... A LEOPARD!!!

The debates represent nothing remotely related to reality...R or D....significant waste of time and money to change nothing.

Although I am not, my mom is a very devote Morman. She has made it very clear that she can not vote for Gov. Romney. She feels that his party has made the defeat of Pres. Obama more important than what is best for our country.

OK, although I don't understand what you're trying to say about your Mom or her religion, I wish you both well.

No offense to you - or your nephew, but he does not represent the youth of today.

The youth of today is overwhelmingly for Obama. Obama won that group handidly in 2008 and has a huge lead in that age group today.

Having said that it is a good thing he is so involved.

My son and his wife, my daughter and her boyfriend are all for Romney, mostly because of the exceedingly sad shape of the economy.

I'm thinking your thinking is a bit off.
