My wife and I are soon-to-be TVers. We have a lot in Sanibel on Long Leaf Lane and our Design Team appointment is Oct. 30th. We will be renting in TV starting late in August. I have been lurking (and even posted a few times) on TOTV for a few years. To those of you already living in the new section south of 466A, what is the cell reception like, especially inside your homes. We are particularly interested in Verizon and AT&T users, but would like to hear responses from all. BTW, I am aware that AT&T has "promised" to install two new towers to service south of 466A, - any new word on that?

Live in Sanibel and we have Verizon, we have not had any problems with reception, inside or out. Actually we never have a problem anywhere we travel with Verizon.

We live in the Village of Charlotte, have Verizion and have excellent service. In Fact our service is so good I have people calling me out of the blue trying to sell me stuff. All kidding aside no problems at all.

T mobile was a disaster here. Was told by several people that AT&T was spotty. We changed to Verizon and have not had any problems

We have AT&T and were not please with the reception in Sanibel. We went into the AT&T store last spring and were told the two new towers SHOULD be up and going by September. We will see in September. TV is the only place we have had a problem with our AT&T reception. As for me, they have until the end of September to get the situation corrected or I am gone! The only reason to stay with them is that we have a very good plan that is no longer offered. Never was one to cut of my nose to spite my face!

Verizon is what we have . No problem with it ever. We also strongly reccomend Bright House for your cable. They are new to The Villages, started in April in Sanibel and will expand from there. We had them for years where we lived before in Florida.

I have TracFone (live in St. James) and the service is lousy while in my house. Dropped calls and cutting in and out all the time. If the new AT&T towers aren't soon built, I'll be changing providers.
