Everyone loves to see all of our different kinds of carts, especially people who are off campus. They get cuter every year. Please post some of neat cars at the squares etc. I think that is one of the most fun things about this place.

Ours isn't really special but we love it.

There was a thread like this some years ago. I will start with ours with Sweetie, my trophy husband of fifty years and our Helene.

It's a Yamaha Gas with a Corvette body. MP3/CD/Radio with speakers in the roof. Back seat comes out and golf rack can go in. Bought it ready made at the Colony Golf Cart Store.

It I were to guess I would say a '55 Cushman. That reminds me of the car I learned to drive on. A 1962 green/white Nash Metropolitan with a 3 speed on the column. It was kind of hideous but today it would be a collector's item.

This is my 2011 gas Yamaha photo from last year. I've updated it somewhat, I'll have to take a newer photo. I can also see that my shrubs have grown a lot since then, they are huge now.

John, You've got a great-looking machine. Cool seats, included. If you don't mind sharing, where did you get this beautiful cart? Gas or electric?

I love this thread!

I was enjoying it too but it abruptly ended! More, more!

Seeing the carts on 60 Minutes is how I found out about TV.

Like John W, my Mother had a green/white Nash Metropolitan. I think I'm going to find one for when I get there.

I got it at Villages Yamaha at LSL last July, that reminds me it's due for an oil change. It's gas, they hold about 6 gallons and get about 40 mpg. Another poster asked about the seats, those are put on by the dealer they're called 'Ultimate Seats'.

Since that photo I've added another sand bottle, so there is one on either side and makes it so your golfing partner has access to bottle as well, we need to take care of the courses. I also added a ball & club washer. I had the sideview mirrors lowered, those large mirrors are nice but create a blind spot in a turn. I also had LED turn signal indicators put on the windshield posts. The regular indicators on the center console are hard to see with the steering wheel blocking your view. That's my biggest pet-peeve, carts driving down the street with a turn signal left on. Now the indicators are at eye level and you can't miss them. I wish Yamaha put those on every cart.

Actually that cart is a chick repellant - offsets my overwhelming magnetism.

If you wondering why my seat color does not match, that is a removable seat cover my lovely wife made for the lab assistant.

It can also be made into a convertible in less than 10 minutes :)

I am also enjoying seeing these golf cart photos. Please keep the photos coming as photos will have to do until I can see more golf carts up close and personal when I return to TV in October.

Here are a few pics. The Red Par Car is the one I currently own. It is an older one, a 1999 if I remember right. It is 36 volt. Goes pretty fast. I took this picture in my back yard.

The aqua one in an older E-Z Go I owned before. I just sold it this year. It was a 1993 if I remember right. It had a unique one piece windshield that tracked up under the roof.

This gold one below is a Club Car with a very unique folding rear seat. I want one like this very badly...I cannot find a back seat like this anywhere. The owner told me they bought it from a dealer somewhere in The Villages. I love this idea, because I do not have a lot of room where I park my golf cart. I could leave it folded up most of the time and just unfold it the rare times I need the back seat. PLEASE, if anyone has any info about this please let me know. I know Star makes one, but I want to buy an electric Club Car where I can install a seat like this. Thanks!

Frank. I could be wrong, but I think D/C Golf carts had this seat. His name is Karl and he had a booth at the Marion flee where I saw the seat. The number I have for him is 352-342-4732. It was a few years ago and I found him when searching for a tray fabricator.

My memory could be flawed :)
