The first time I visited it felt like home!

Honestly, it did take a little bit of time . For about a year it felt like we were on vacation....:). One thing that was realized not so quickly is that The Villages is now your hometown....that's a great feeling, actually more satisfying than recognizing your home is now home.

Four months still feel like it is a vacation.

This weekend. Went home to Houston after being gone 8 years. Saw how much had changed - some not for the better - and I could not wait to get home to my hubby. Of course, anywhere my husband lays his head is my home.
