He preached about sub prime lending yet over 90% of gm loans are sub prime. Is this going to be another bailout down the road? Stock at $18 needs to be over 50 for tax payers to be repaid, will we?

yes and no. You may be surprised as or if you dig into the details of how the federal bail out money was used. Not much if anything changed in the structure/overhead of the company.
GM will need the sales volume to generate the projected level of profits to be able to pay anything back. If in fact there has been anything specifically tied to operating performance VS loan terms.
We know the federal government does not track where bail out money goes. And I am pretty sure it is a safe bet nobody in the government is tracking anything regarding how and or when or if the so called "loan" is ever paid back.
My vote would be the same as the first time....no more bail outs. Let the high paid GM execs figure out how to make the company survive....which should have been done instead of bailing out (the executives).

Today's Wall Street Journal say, "GM has lost market share in the US this year and faces an economic crisis in Europe...executives acknowledged recently that the turnaround efforts aren't moving as quickly or smoothly as planned." It appears that the anointed one's $80 billion gift to the UAWis running out of steam even before his term in office is over.
