It's easy to do. Just install a DC to AC convertor. It will supply enough juice to power a lot of mini lights!

Here are a couple of photos I took last November at LSL. You can see the large Christmas tree.

You just have to be sure you don't overload it. Check the output of your inverter and calculate whatever you want to plug into it. There are several different size output inverters available. We have one that is rated at 75 watts and it is more than enough to power the LED lights around the top. I'm hoping to add some more this year. Ours is the type that plugs into the optional cigarette lighter type port in the dash. It can be used to power any AC device under 75 watts.

Is this English? I need a translation! :1rotfl: Maybe I can just enjoy the results of your hard work. Happy Holidays!

This reminds me of the time I pulled Einstein's Theory of Relativity off the shelf at the library. If it's in English I can read it, I said to myself. I got through one half page before giving up.

That made my day. We will be moved down soon and can't wait to join the festivities! Our 7-year journey to get to TV is only through the grace of God! PERIOD! Case closed.

Nice to hear!
I don't understand why people get angry! To my Jewish friends I say "Happy Channukah" and they reply "Merry Christmas." Is that a big deal? Am I missing something?
Thanks for the pics John - looks great!

And this is how a normal, rational human being thinks. Then there is the other side of the coin.

There is one gentleman that lives on Dunkirk Trail just off Odell that starts putting up lights before Thanksgiving. This is a great production as his neighbors have joined in and there are 5 or 6 houses on both sides of the street all tied together via a wireless network. He has a low power radio transmitter that broadcasts music over FM radio or you can listen to the speakers in front of his house. The lights are all controlled by computer to go off / on or even change color to the beat of the music. It is a real site to see. It is on from 6 to 9 every night and it is totally amazing what he and his neighbors have done.
There is another location in Chatham that does the same thing and is also very nice to see. Sorry I can't remember what street it was on.
Also some village social groups get a caravan together and go out to look at the lights in their golf carts. Last year I watched one that had over 75 carts making the rounds. They would make pit stops at some of the rec centers to tap a flask for a little warm up if needed. They had a great time.

I'll share my secret formula.
Plug whatever you want and if the fuse on the inverter doesn't blow then you're good to go. If the fuse blows or trips then either reset it or replace it and remove 1 set of lights!
