This morning on the news I heard that McDonald's is going to give free certificates for chicken sandwiches to those protesting at Chick-fil-A today.
Are they entirely stupid? Are they trying to destroy their business by pandering to such a small demographic.
If this is true they lost my business. I don't think I should be trusting anybody that dumb making my food.
I just can't believe it. Dumb dumb!

A lot of the Internet has worthless garbage on it. Like that stuff about Obama's birth certificate as well as James Holmes supposed arrest at the Occupy Wall Street protest.

A lot you say !!!! WOW...there are blogs, etc on here that will validate your trip to Mars if you want !
And your political shots not necessary...my comment was in jest as you must have known. Speaking of OCCUPY, they just got evicted here in Tampa from another site that they turned into a garbage dump.

If it's happening it must be a really local thing because there no internet buzz on it and no internet announcement of it.
So far, just rumor.

Yeah Harry "heard" exactly what he discussed with Huffington Post and they later reported on...then he took the HuffPo reporting to the well of the senate and presented it as "it's out there".
Name your source Harry...this blind unsubstantiated "it's out there" smearing doesn't mean squat.
How about, "it's out there" that Obama is still doing cocaine and sucking pot smoke off car ceilings with his old choom gang.

In virtually every culture, marriage is an institution involving a public commitment between a man and a woman. The complementary nature of men and women points to the unique nature of marriage: to bear and raise children. One can recognize this fact and so conclude that same sex marriage is an oxymoron without being anti-gay
Dan Cathy gave a recent interview to the Baptist Press saying "We are a family owned business, a family led business and we are married to our first wives. We give God our thanks for that."
Irresponsible parties have referred to Chick-fil-A discrimiantory and anti-gay policies. There are no such policies. Gay customers and employees are not tossed out of chick-fil-A restaurants. Mr. Cathy has expressed no animosity toward gays. He has not even referred to same sex marriage.

Fast food is fast food. Who cares where the business goes, unless you own McDonald's stock?

And when I married my DW knowing we would never have children, obviously that was a sham and no one should have allowed us to marry as it didn't fit "the unique nature of marriage" So either my marriage is an oxymoron, or you owe me an apology for the insult.
And if my business or the profit I made from my business provided millions of dollars to fight against allowing Black people to marry or to adopt children might you not conclude that I am a racist? Now just alter that sentence remove Black, insert gay, remove racist, insert anti-gay. And if my business or the profit I made from my business provided millions of dollars to fight against allowing gay people to marry or to adopt children might you not conclude that I am anti-gay? Yes

Cathy did absolutely NOT insult anyone. The man has a RIGHT TO his opinion. it's called FREEDOM OF SPEECH.!!! That is why so many people showed up. They are sick and tired of the left saying anything they want and when the right does, they try to shut them down. as proof this is right, sales went through the roof last week!! and if McDonalds did give out free certificates to the gays, it wasn't out of kindness but stupidity I agree. Sure way to ruin your business -- open mouth - insert foot. Cathy didn't give out free sandwiches to those who believe in traditional marriage. He'd be out of business if he did!!
So few gays in comparison to those who believe in Traditional marriage. Sorry but if a nerve was hit, maybe there is a gay relative in famiily?? Have nothing against them, just have NO reason to WANT to hear or see what they choose to do behind closed doors. See no reason to brag about it. It's not the norm, never was, never will be. We have enough problems in this country trying to keep traditional families together no less worrying about Johnny kissing Johnny. Maybe that should be the next olympic sport?? Wow - I wonder how many people would tune in . :a040:
