Woke up the morning and my water heater is making a lot of noise. Went to check it out and found a puddle on the floor. Can someone recommend to repair it?

Probably going to need a new Water Heater if it is leaking.
Try Lowe's or Home Depot for Water Heater.

Not so fast! Water might have blown out the relief valve due to an expansion tank that has filled with water (search previous posts for info) or a faulty thermostat or relief valve.

We had ours leaking last year. I called Paramount Plumbing - Patrick Daugherty 352 330-7233. We needed a new expansion tank. He was efficient and reasonable. Good luck.

I took the advice here and called Paramount Plumbing. Patrick called me back and said he could be here by noon time. About 11:45 the phone rang ad it was Patrick saying that he was on his way. He arrived at 12:00 on the button. He looked at the water heater and then looked under the house. Turns out that I had a broken pipe where the water comes into the heater.
He had to call an assistant to crawl under the house. The assistant showed up in about fifteen minutes and he and Patrick worked together to cut a hole in the floor and replace a small section of pipe. He put the floor back together and everything is good now.
Patrick charged me $90. He said that he didn't want to charge me for the time that we were waiting for the assistant to show up.
Patrick is an honest plumber and very nice guy. We chatted about a number of subjects while he was working and we were waiting for the assistant. I would recommend him for any work that you need done.

Patrick from Paramount is exactly as you describe. Had a good experience with him last year. He's an honest efficient gentleman.
