GOOD, post....not really new news. This rhetoric is simply another political game he has been playing with all of us. The gay thing, the illegals...all of these isuses were there for 3 years and nothing done and now he divides us with this rich verus poor thing. If he really cared he would have honored his own committee (appointed obviously for also only political reasons because he has ignored them and their report) and we may have made some great revisions to the tax code but that would not serve his political purposes.
There were rich folks and poor folks all throughout our history and the worlds history...no more, and no less. It is simply another way to divide when we need leadership in the oval office ths is what we have !
But in his defense...this is ALL he knows. He has never had a job outside academia, except as an organizer and this is what they do. He has NEVER, ONCE served in any position which required any leadership whatsoever, and he has always been surrounded with progressive career politicians. So, this is all he knows

The facts are there for all to see.
Is Obama stupid?...........Does he think we are stupid?
The answer to the first question is obviously NO.
The answer to the second question is either YES.........or he doesn't care.
This is a calculated move on the part of the President.
He wants to devolve the country as I keep trying to tell you guys.
The goal is to have the majority of the country dependent on the government.
When that happens the Democrats will have total and everlasting power.
Business needs to be scaled back to decrease jobs in order to do this.
He has been very successful in having fewer Americans employed month after miserable month.
The Socialist Utopia plan is on schedule.

Wow, RichieLion has cracked the secret code on the back of the $1 bill that has been intact since Franklin D. Roosevelt put it there. Congratulations!
Richie should have just contacted any card-carrying Progressive Pinko as the secret decoding information is printed on the back of the Progressive Pinko ID Card along with a 35 cent off coupon for a Big Mac (no Chik-Fil-A sandwiches for us!).
If I didn't know better, Richie, I would swear this revelation came to you while you were swilling Grey Goose from an ice sculpture or something just as crazy as that. But since Grey Goose is from a Socialist country, that would never happen with you. :boxing2:

I knew I was right and your ridiculous post of ridicule and zero substance proves you have no counter to anything I've said.
I've never known you to take a back seat at the bar and order plain seltzer by the way. You're not to be outdone in reaching for the pitcher of Yuengling by anyone.
I love when I reduce you to gibberish.

The Kochs, norquist, and Adelson and the money behind the US C of C have spent billions to convince Richie and his compadres that keeping tax rates at historic lows on their kind was in their best interest. So that people with zero benefit will jump on the ridiculous and decietful bandwagon to keep taxes on these billionaires low on the premise that they will create jobs. Hooey! Tax rates have been at the lowest since the thirties and they are not creating jobs, but are sitting on their fortunes, and buying bigger toys. They create jobs when creating jobs makes them more money, and the tax rates do not influence that. They created jobs by the millions in the fifties when the marginal rate at the highest bracket was 90%. Richie, you have swollowed their bait and the hook is planted firmly in your cheek.

I read that article to be speculative at best. Better written is the replies below the article that say the tax hike for the rich only would not hurt jobs at all.
I don't want to be hurt, nor do I wish that on any one else, but please read the article and posts to it without bias as I do.
The title alone says millions of small businesses but also in the article it talks about it effecting 1.5 percent of the population. Both cannot be right.

Why does not Obama preach about revision of the tax code, which I would support, instead of always rich versus poor ?

I really don't understand how you uber cons can defend the rich when the top 1% of them pay 38% of total tax receipts. Really just because a look back over several decades clearly establishing that trying to punish the rich for being rich never resulted in more tax money and actually reduced it.
I really don't understand why you uber cons feel that the rich ought to support some 54% of the population that appreciate the gifts derived from entitlements and never have or will pay a penny in taxes.
I don't understand why you uber cons claim that the rich claims of eliminating growth with higher taxes and regulations is fake because they are a greedy self-serving group. And that their claim of over regulations and tax policy create an uncertain environment and an uncertain environment is not conducive to a profitable projection.
I mean that's like those 54% of society on the dole making a false claim that not receiving their benefits ( freebies) each and every month on time would create a crisis for them.
I don't understand why you uber cons are confused by the fact that capitalism means the same as greed and think it means a free enterprise system that runs this economy creating jobs, innovations and wealth. Boy oh boy you uber cons are so far off base.
I dont' understand why you uber cons defend taxing the rich more as problematic claiming that the initiative will eventually fall onto the remaining middle class (what is left of it) because the intitiative will never meet the alleged projections being made by Team Obama.
I don't understand why you uber cons don't get angry at rich guys who have the ability and opportunity to move their assets, etc so that won't be taxed. Can you imagine the audacity of these people to want to avoid paying more taxes.....why why its un-american unless your just the little guy or a Senator or a movie star
Boy the uber cons viewpoint on what constitues a healthy economy is sure strange apparently they didn't listen when Obama said you didn't earn that somebody else made that happen. and then in a sotto voce Obama said and it was me so pony up more taxes.Boy uber cons are sure dumb
