Don't give Obama his return ticket too soon. Even Democrats know that the country is in dire straits. Only the unrepentant leftists are on board for a second term.

People who respond to polls are not the same people who vote, by and large.

The leftists are in for a shock come the evening of Nov. 6th.

I can just see the shock on the faces of the talking heads of the major networks.

It's going to be another "temper tantrum".

Maybe they can bring Peter Jennings back from beyond to repeat those classic words of 1994.

Loved "Money for Nothing" by Dire Straits. And for that I am unrepentent. :icon_wink:

Keep dreaming - with Obama at the top of the ticket, Dems keep the Senate - and pick up 12 House seats (but not enough to take back the House). Taking back the House will have to wait to 2014.

Voter turnout to exceed the 64% in 2008.

Would you care to expand on what states those five or six seats will come from? This morning on Morning Joe, Chuck Todd said he expects Elizabeth Warren to win in MA by seven or eight points, and Angus King is way ahead in ME. That would be two pick-ups for the democrats.

Senators Bill Nelson should be able to win in FL, Sherrod Brown is way ahead in OH, Tim Kaine will hopefully win in VA, and John Tester hopefully will hold on in MT.

What states do you see flipping the other way?
