There is a very lovable dog at one of the local dog parks in or near the Villages whose owner needs to find a new home for her because of an imminent move. The owner has been having some medical problems and can no longer take care of this young dog.

She is very intelligent but does have a problem jumping up on people in greeting. Her name is Sandy and she is a mix of probably a collie and australian shepherd and perhaps some Rhodesian Ridgeback. Small sized though if she contains some Rhodesian Ridgeback.

Her shots are current. She loves to exercise and goes to a local dog park daily. She is probably about a year old.

You are very kind to try and get little Sandy a new home. I suggest you get some cute pictures of her/him and post. You'll have much more luck. Focus on those wonderful big baby eyes! Awwwww! Please take me home!

I am trying to help someone one who has not been able to find a taker for this sweet smart pooch over the past few months. Unfortunaely, I do not have a picture available at the moment. I did pet these pretty dog a few times this morning though. Sandy is very attached to the dog park she goes to every day. She's great at playing frisbee.

I am almost 6' 1" and she has licked my face in greeting a few times over the past few months. This was while I was standing straight up too. That's her only real problem. She needs some training on not jumping up on people.

Saw Sandy again in her "kennel" at the dog park I go to regularly. As far as I know she's still looking for a new owner.
